Approach & Training

My approach is based on my advanced training in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. I also bring knowledge from work with Shiatsu, Reiki, Myofascial and somatic movement practices. As a life-long learner, my training is ongoing.

Because I am a creative person my approach is often intuitive. I have curiosity about and compassion for each person’s needs. Sessions are completely individualized and include modalities most appropriate for your issues. I want people to make massage a regular part of their life, their health and self care. Therefore, I try to offer affordable rates to allow regular treatments.

I completed a 500-hour program at Wellness Massage Center and Institute, St. Albans Vt., with courses in Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Professional Ethics and Communication Skills, Business Management, Chair Massage, Deep Tissue, Swedish massage, and Shiatsu as well as an introduction in Myofascial Release, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Fire Cupping and Reflexology.

Away From The Table

I am a musician, dancer, teacher and lover of the outdoors. My time is spent teaching and playing piano, dancing, hiking, gardening, cooking, and enjoying the company of my wife, my family, friends and cats.
